FAQs

This is how we flex on the package. Adjustments can be made to either decrease the budget or increase the range of services we offer.

  • Simple! We can make adjustments to the filming time. Generally, we reduce the budget by $200 per hour, removing from the base 8-hour filming time. We’ll continue to be flexible no matter how much time you book. We can also cut you a shorter highlight film that is less than five minutes instead of the standard 7-10 minute version that comes with the Essential Package. Remove $400 for this option.

  • No problem! We add $900 to the budget to arrange for a 2nd videographer to accompany your lead shooter. This will add more footage to our edit and a greater variety of shots for us to choose from. The price increase accommodates both the videographer’s time and the extra editing time.

  • We do not include it by default, but yes, if you feel you want aerial shots, we’ll bring a small drone. We will do so only by request, and only if it is safe to fly in accordance with the FAA regulations.

  • Totally. We can cut a 60-second version of some of the best storytelling clips to share as a teaser. Add $550 to the budget, and we’ll expedite it before your wedding film edit is delivered.

  • We do offer this service. We always film with two camera angles during the ceremony to make a smooth edit. For speeches, we film the entire time to catch every word. If we edit them together, please add $800 to the budget so we can recut your highlight film to include those extended sections. Allow an extra week to deliver this extended version after providing your highlight film.

  • We turn around for the Highlight Films in 8 weeks or less. The social edits can be done within three weeks. We’ve streamlined our process over the years, so we deliver on time and budget!

  • Well, our equipment is top-notch. We prefer Canon mirrorless cameras like the R3 and R6, Panasonic S1H, and Fujifilm XH-2S. We shoot for the most film-like imagery and use sharp lenses for crisp details. For audio, we use microphones on the groom and officiant whenever possible to get the ceremony recorded well. We tap into the DJ or house sound system to record speeches too. We don’t use lights, we prefer natural light and our cameras are the best you can get for low light. Light stands also add an unnecessary element of danger; we don’t want grandma tripping on her way to the dance floor.

What else? We don’t wear suits as they limit our movements. We prefer nice pants with tucked-in collared shirts, clean shoes, and a belt. Simple, low-key. We like to be discreet, which helps us get the shots we need without drawing too much attention.
